I used the instructions provided by AMD and did a express uninstall in order to do a clean install of the new AMD software and restarted my computer and NO use of my USB PORTS AS MY KEYBOARD AND MOUSE ARE UNRESPONSIVE AS WELL I HAD TO MANUALLY OPEN MY DISC DRIVE AND PUT MY REPAIR DISC IN AND IT WONT RESPOND EITHER ...I HAVE A HP ENVY 23 c059 all in one I literally am at a loss !

I would think the BIOS would not require any uninstalled drivers for the keyboard. See if you can get into the BIOS and set the removeable media drive as the boot drive and try again. You might have to unplug both the hard drive and removable media drive power connectors to get it to go to the BIOS automatically.

Don't suppose you know how to unplug those as there is no way of manoeuvreing around whatsoever without my keyboard or mouse :(

I'm talking about physically removing the power plug from the devices. Since it's an all-in-one machine, that might get complicated. Search the web for the specific model you have. Like "<model> disassemble". Or take it to a shop.

I will search and find out how to unplug ..just wondering is there anyway do u think I could use a laptop and connect it to my PC via divi cable and than couldn't I connect through Remote Desktop and run ubcd (ultimate boot cd ) . There has to be something in there that will fix my drivers or at least boot it properley

Since you have unistalled Windows there is no way to boot to Windows on the all-in-one machine unless you have a CD or DVD. Maybe you can get on the HP site and download an image of the install CD for it on your laptop. Then burn that image to a CD or DVD and boot the all-in-one from that.

There's no way to run Remote Desktop on the all-in-one because Remote Desktop is a Windows program and you already unistalled all of that.

Two other options are to go buy a Windows install CD and install it yourself or take it to a shop and have them do the install.

well im still at this as im not givng up..im just wondering you had mentioned earlier that i uninstalled windows yet when i turn on the pc it still goes to the windows 8 start screen..the one right before i put in my password and its still displaying correct time ..i am praying i dont lose all of my data as literally there are so many programs and software and i dont want to think about how long it has taken me to get to this point:( i am now going to do what you said and remove the power connectors,i did google it and searched and went into forums and its basically unplugging the sata cord and two cords from the media drive..im sure i will figure it out but i just wanted you to know that you are the only one who even suggested that this might work..so thank you even if it doesnt work as there really isnt any other way and i it cant hurt! my next step is to write amd one nasty letter and warn people against this stupid 5 second mistake that might cost me thousands of hours of work:(  cheers!

Probable reason for not getting to Setup is Fast boot, which employs the contents of your Hiberfile on the Hard Drive. Disconnecting the SATA connector should get you into Setup, allowing you to set the Optical Drive as 1st boot device, hopefully your Repair disk will allow you to get to Troubleshoot and Advanced Options. You can reconnect your HDD whilst in BIOS as long as you're careful...

Seems to be a feature of the newer HP machines that the USB3 Drivers are included in the AMD Catalyst Driver Package, not a problem for my laptop as it has a couple of USB2 ports, but disastrous for you as yours must all be USB3. Hopefully being able to boot from repair disk will cure all

I would leave the Media drive connected and just disconnect the HDD to break the fast boot loop to see if you can access BIOS, boot from repair Disk then reconnect HDD...

Hopefully with the HDD disconnected your Keyboard drivers will be loaded in BIOS, you still need to hit F10 to access Setup...

ok so the back is off and the hard drive is out yikes lol now that redish pinkish cable..literally the only cable back here , do i disconnect that as well..is that the sata cable?or is removing the hard drive enough? and you said that the bios should load the keyboard drivers but mine are wireless so im assuming before i plug in and turn on i have to put the usbs in the ports right for the keyboard or no

Aha... Wireless? Could be the root of your problem. Do you have a wired keyboard you could try? Mebbe the wireless one will work, try anyway. Not sure about your drive, the pink cable will be the SATA cable, that's all you need to disconnect. I was expecting you to have a combined Power/SATA cable, but seems not...
Power on with keyboard dongle and see if F10 gets you into BIOS

so i should put the hard drive back in and just simply disconnect the sata cord and than plug in usbs cause i dont have a wired anything not even a mouse..if i turn it on and it doesnt work i might rip out and grab one as i do think this willwork but i also think the wireless thing is part of the problem..its like it blew them all out if you get what i mean..like the ports or drivers ..i should actually try putting them in my laptop and see if they load..im gonna do that..

Sure, disconnecting the HDD will break the fast boot, but I suspect the Wired K'bd will do the trick...

so i plugged the keyboard and mouse usbs into my laptop and no problem installing device drivers..so nothing left to do but giver a shot..one more question..i put the hard drive back in but heres the thing the sata cord goes from the hard drive to another area and plugs in ..do i unplug it from both areas all together or just from the hard drive area or the other one lol

Unplug whichever end is easiest to re-connect. when you say 'no problem installing device drivers', what did you mean?

i meant that i plugged the usb connectors thingys in and it recognized and installed the software for the devices..i was worried that when i did whatever i did it had wrecked them so i went out and bought another mouse to try but of course that didnt work and thats when i knew i was in trouble:(  btw thank you very much for helping me!

Did the PC come with wireless Kbd/mouse? I see there is a wireless receiver dongle under a panel on the back according to your Manual. From what you're saying you're using Kbd and mouse connected via USB ports, ie ones you acquired yourself rather than the originals? Not that it matters, the original receiver will be USB anyway, but may be the only means of controlling BIOS entries...

Nope I'm using the ones that came with it except for a different mouse..there are three things that go into the USB two are little and one is big ..than I have a mouse and keyboard ..I'm assuming the larger connects the mouse and keyboard

I disconnected the sata and turned it on and it did the same thing it sounds the same as always and loads the same I just can't get it to recognize the keyboard and mouse ?? Maybe I should disconnect it from both ends ?

The wireless dongle, or receiver for your original kbd/mouse setup is the one shown below. Also check that the Kbd is 'found' by pressing the button on the base. If working correctly F10 should get you into BIOS at Power on...

Well, the HDMI cable is meant for connecting to an external Monitor, not another PC, so you may have done some damage. The correct cable to transfer data between two PCs is a Network, or Ethernet cable. Only other step I can think of is resetting your CMOS, this is usually achieved by removing the CMOS battery for about 30 seconds. With whatever covers you have removed are you able to see a small coin sized Silver battery? Usually in a white base... or a small black disk-in a pocket with red and black wires?

Gently prise it out and leave it a minute before replacing.. Resets CMOS.

No. The connection between PC and Laptop relies on Windows running on both to establish a network. Possibly a wired keyboard might work to navigate round BIOS, though to access it in the first place did you use the w'less kbd? F10?
Meanwhile what happens when you power up with the HDD re-connected? (Hoping CMOS reset triggered something)

Could it be a simple coincidence like the battery in the Keyboard just failed? All hinges on it working properly...

Only if the HDD was disconnected as well, and provided that the DVD drive is on the list of Boot devices!

At least you should be able to retrieve your data by removing the HDD and inserting it into a Caddy which enables you to read it via USB port on your Laptop.
