Can you use a hdmi cable to connect your monitor and graphics card?

HI i will get a ps4 soon and i don't have a HD TV so I'am thinking of using the HDMI port ON my graphics card (GT 610) to use my monitor to play
IS IT POSSIBLE ? PLEASE I NEED AN ANSWER AND ADVISES REALLY FAST AND THaNK YOU

So you want to connect your PS4 via HDMI to your graphic cards HDMI port and probably connect your graphic card to a monitor via DVI? If that's your question, i am afraid no.

Doesn't your monitor support HDMI? If no and it only supports DVI (and/or VGA) you can get an adaptor from HDMI to DVI and use that on your monitor.

Yeah that's what i am going to do I found that the adapter is very cheap so i will get one and use it until i get a HD TV soon enough .
