Framerate drop after 2 minutes of watching any video(youtube in game etc)

After about 2 minutes of watching a video on anything(in a game, youtube, video files etc.) and the only way to fix it is to pause and start again it is really annoying. My pc specs are:
I7 4700mq
nvidia geforce 750m 2 gb gddr5
8gb ram
Edit: the problem occurs after not using my mouse or anything else in 2 minutes or more, and can be resolved by moving the mouse any way to fix it?
Edit number 2:
The problem is with any program after 2 minutes without touching any buttons on the pc/using a mouse

I have pretty much every power option set to maximum performance(pc never turns off, etc)

A friend of mine has the same problem, and it seems not to occur with the task manager open. We are looking for a better solution of course. I've tried reinstalling drivers and video codecs. The problem remains. It seems to be something with the graphics card (Nvidia 755 2gb) because when we switch to the integrated graphics card the problem is no more.
