Z-77a G-43 gaming OC genie options menu blank

So I have a Z-77a G43 gaming motherboard (which, fyi, has dragons) it is a solid board, I love it, but the OC genie options form is blanked out, I can't activate XMP to OC my ram, which is killing me. Nobody else in the entire world has this problem, according to the internet. Biting the bullet and upgrading to that bloody haswell that has killed the Z-77 platform is too expensive in time, money and pride, please help!

you have enabled it in bios right?

XMP function can be changed in bios also
