Surround Sound Help Needed

This is my setup.
Headphones: takstar 2050

SS Amp: Sabrent usb-snd8

I can see the amp and headphones in my playback devices. which one do I set to default? It seems like they both provide the same sound quality. But, I can only choose SS 7.1 when configuring the headphones.

Answered my own question. You select the USB sabrent hub or whatever surround sound usb you are using. You then edit the options in the software that came with it. If you are using headphones with virtual 7.1 surround sound, make sure you set your headphones channel to 2 and not 8. 8 doesn't sound good at all coming through only two output speakers.
