Hi all,

Wonder if the change is worthwhile? Right now I'm using Sapphire Toxic, but I've been thinking to change to GTX 770 lately. I have a few reasons though why I would wanna do that.
I don't mine cryptocoins
I don't OC
I think AMD's card can be used to the fullest if both of mentioned above is applied, which is I'm not right now. So is the change be any worthwhile?

Also I need recommendations on which 770 brand is on par or more powerful than the R9 280x.

Many thanks

Such a change is probably not worthwhile.
For gaming, the cards are about equal.

Currently, the R9 cards are overpriced because of the bitcoin mania.
If you can sell your R9 for enough to pay for a GTX770, then ok.

I would look at the EVGA GTX770 superclock with the stock titan cooler.
It will run cooler, quieter, and keep your case cooler with the direct heat exhaust.

The change will not be worthwhile, instead you will loose 1GB Vram. You have to take the 4GB version of the 770 which is costlier than R9 280x which has 3GB Vram and is the best bang for the buck for 1080p.
