hi i wanted to know if i will be able to overclock my i5 4760k to 4.2 ghz with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO safetly with good temps thanks.

well, it would be more than just stock clocks. i would be expecting your idle temp + 10C

Yes. The 212 evo is capable of handling overclocks very well.
