Hi everybody.

I am looking to build my first ever PC purely for gaming. I've searched the internet and I found this website the most active and helpful. I have found a lot of answers from different threads. Most are helpful but contradict each other or are dated a few months ago and looking for a more update answer. so I am looking to get some peoples opinion on my situation.

I want to know on how you would build around these two rigs. one for overclocking and one not. which mobo? which non reference 760 and 770? 8gb of which ram? which PSU and whatever extras like cooling for the OC version. no optical drive. no os/keyboard etc.

OC version: i5 3570k or 4670k

non OC version:i5 3350p

the whole idea is to see what the price to performance difference will be since the non OCed one will need less cooling and a smaller PSU. budget $500-650

Thanks in advanced

cheers mate. i've got a case. so can deduct that. also if i went for a non OC i5 3350p, i could get a cheaper mobo and PSU. which would you choose? and would i be able to get below the $650 limit?
