Hey guys, I'm going to come out and say it right here. I'm 14. Bear in mind, I turn 15 in 4 days, but still, I'm a youngin'. So money for me is very tight. I have budgeted out myself a little, but I don't know how to maximize it.
I already have a 430w PSU, and HDD with win7 on it, so that part is covered. I have my case picked out, check it out here.
For ram I'm getting 2x4GB of Kingston HpyerX.
I am going to skip out on an optical drive for now, because I haven't used mine in probably a year and a half, and I need to save money
So now, all I need is the important stuff, Motherboard, CPU, GPU.
My original Plan was an A8 6600k Which is CPU and GPU. At first I was skeptical of integrated, and I still am. It seems it gets very mixed reviews on the internet.And for a mobo I was going to get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132055 if you care.
But now, after looking, I was wondering if I can, for a little more money, get a CPU and dedicated GPU, instead of AMD's "APU". This way it's more common, and it will run better aswell.
So what GPU, CPU, and Mobo would you guys recommend for under $250? This is going to be for gaming
If you could give me some basic benchmarks for what this will run X game on Y settings at Z FPS, I would love it
