Hi guys I just got some G.Skill Ripjaws X series ram clocked at 2133mhz and CL11. I'm wondering if it will work on a M5A97 R2.0 board and an FX-8320? Thanks. Also I'm wondering if I can get a better mobo budget is £80.

Look in the advanced area of the BIOS for XMP, DOCP or EOCP, they are the various auto RAM options for set up, enable it and then select 1866, it will take info from the SPD of the DRAM and (hopefully) set the sticks up for you...if any problem let me know and we can set up manually

DRAM initially will default to the mobos boot freq, often 1333, am saying may only be able to take them to 1866, once installed, you need to set them up. Most use XMP, DOCP, or EOCP, can enable whichver your mobo supports, then select the freq tou want to run/try and run at
