I'm planning to build a (low cost) system and I wondered if there are better options. I don't really plan to over-clock the system (yet). I'm not a die-hard gamer. I do play WoW and some random other games from time to time. I thought myself of a AMD fx 6350 but the extra costs for a 8350 are minimum. (£35 orso) Please elaborate :)

the intel cpu and mb are better gaming combo then the amd mb. intel cpu with four cores are still faster then amd 8 core cpu in games. in my build used the evo 212 it a great cooler for the price as the cosair r300 case. if you want change back it only 10.00 more. the hard drive you picked out was an older server hard drive. your better off today to use a ssd as the boot drive and a 7200 rpm drive as the data drive. there not much cost change between a 1tb and 2tb drive now. (41.)
the amd video card is faster then the newer 750ti card.

for the 30.00 more for the 270x card your getting more gaming gpu for the dollar.
the power supply is a full gold modular unit so your cable management is easier.
also a better unit.

I don't know if it is the prices in the UK because I'm Spanish and I use euro (€), but I think with that money you could get a better GPU. You'd better get a GTX 760, HD 7870 or R9 270X.

Get the GTX 760 or 7870 due to the raised prices of the R9 270x due to cryptocurrency mining.

I really suggest the 760 though; best price to performance GPU around in my opinion!

Dont mind the prices on this site, if i look around on the net then i can get everything on an average of 20% cheaper then what they mention there. I can build this system for about £650 pound and that's about the maximum i want to spend.
