I want to try to open up an old PC and fix something. Let's say I plan to use a wooden table in the kitchen so there is no carpet involved. My pc does not have an off switch in the back so I will not leave it plugged in.
Will an ESD Mat and Wrist Strap still help? The mat and wrist strap I am considering both would attach to the metal case.
