Gigabit NIC On Slower Home Network?

I'm looking at an Optiplex 380 to replace my (sigh) XP Dimension.

It has Integrated Broadcom BCM57780 Gigabit Ethernet. Am I correct that it will adjust to, and run fine on my 10/100 network, albeit at the slower speed?
