Can i turn this computer into a decent gaming rig?

I want to know if i can turn the computer with the listed specs into a medium ranged gaming computer.My aim with this computer is to be able to play games like Civ 5,path of exile, and diablo 3 on medium-high settings with over 50 fps,maybe make it on par with xbox 360 or ps4. Would i be able to do this with a budget of $100? if not how much would i need?ill try to put in as much info as i can.

A GPU is the best option but the PSU should be changed too and you overclock your CPU to 3.2GHz or more but you would also need a cheap cpu cooler or buy a second hand Intel Core 2 Quad. How much could you raise the budget? Maybe you can go with a GPU, PSU and a slight overclock if you cant get enough money.

Option A) within the 100$ budget after mail-in rabate. You could overclock your CPU to 3.0GHz and use it with the stock cooler if the temperature is ok and then it would be good.

Option B) would be better because you can overclock the CPU and raise the fps and also you could run a better GPU like this one to get even more fps.
