Hi,
I'm having a problem solely related to playing games.
Whilst gaming my system will after what seems a random duration (5 mins to 2hours) either crashes the game (...has stopped responding) or freezes and requires a forced restart.
I'm a keen Total War player and it doesn't same to affect RTW or MTW2 but will on ETW & NTW, STW2 won't even last one battle. I'm itching to play RTW2 but at the moment I'm not wasting my money. My system should be ok to play these on at least high settings but I've even tried medium to no avail. Oh I play at 1680x1050.
CPU: Intel i5 760
GPU: AMD HD5770 1GB
PSU: Corsair CX500
Motherboard: P7P55-M
RAM: 8GB DDR3
I've read a few threads but can't seem to tell its it my GPU or CPU
I've updated the drivers but lack the knowledge to risk playing with the BIOS, also everything is at stock levels.
I've tried stress testing each individually and they all pass, also removed the side panel for extra ventilation but that didn't work either.
My funds are somewhat limited so can't risk throwing my money at it until it works.
