I bought this new graphic card GTX 770 recently while assembled the whole desktop. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz 16.0GB Ram, 64-bit operating system,
While I was playing Final Fantasy 14, this black screen started, but even outside of the game it happens sometimes; not often though.
The video card temperature goes up and down between 40-60 degrees C.

Sounds like a driver issue. Try this.
- Remove anything nvidia related from your pc
- Restart pc
- Download the latest Nvidia drivers here: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
- Install the driver without geforce experience
- install gefroce experience

hope this works!

Another possibility is that you have some bad sectors on you RAM. Download memtest and let it run overnight.
