how much can i overclock my phenom

Solution
A phenom 2 shouldn't be what you are looking at, its too old, flipping to something like an FX-4300 or A8-3650 will net you better performance. And since you're running an AM2+ board its going to cost you more than that since you'll need to swap out the ram for DDR3.

First generation Phenoms came out 2007, second generation in 2008, which means your system is about 7 years old. It has lived a long life, it may be time to save for a complete rebuild, you may have gotten as far as that motherboard can bring you, its time to make the leap forward a few generations and get your hands on some shiny new toys!
Your motherboard isn't going to support extreme OCing, with only 3 phases providing CPU power it is pretty limited on its capabilities as to how much extra you can get out of it. With a 9500 you are already close to its capabilities, going for a high OC is going to be problematic especially since the first generation Phenoms at 65nm are far more power hungry than the second gen chips at 45nm.
