Hey guys, I recently purchased some ATH M50s to listen to music from my phone and computer. They work great with my phone and I can really notice the difference, however, when I try to hook them up to my computer, they are not recognized under the control panel-sound audio devices. I have confirmed that they work on my phone. I have also tried installing, un-installing, and re-installing the hd audio driver's from realtek's website for my gigabyte 990fx-ud3 motherboard. I have no idea what to do in order to make these headphones work, I have previously used a PS3 headset (px5) for gaming, but those were hooked up to the headphone jack on the back of my monitor and a USB on my desktop. The ATH M50s also work when I plug them into the back of my monitor, but they are still not recognized independently as headphones, the monitor is the designated audio device on the control panel. Please help!

I have tried plugging in my generic samsung earbuds (received with the galaxy s4) into both the front and back audio ports. Neither work.
