So about two months ago I bought the TL-WN951N PCI adapter from Amazon. It didn't give the best connection from the beginning but it was functional and I could stay connected to the internet. Lately I have been unable to connect at all. I've tried troubleshooting and Windows says the wireless network connection doesn't have the correct IP configuration. When I reboot the pc, the adapter activity light no longer glows or flashes green, and I can't connect or recognize any internet connections at all. I've switched the card to the two slots in my motherboard multiple times and still not working. I don't know what else to do. Any help please?

Had this problem too. ipconfig and /all, /renew and /release would not work. They just gave errors when I ran them. What worked for me was to reinstall the drivers.

    ■ Make sure you have your wireless passwords saved somewhere.
    ■ Go to Start. Type Device Manager and click it when it comes up.
    ■ Expand "network adapters"
    ■ TL-WN951N should be the one labeled Atheros
    ■ Right click and select Uninstall. Make sure the option to delete the driver software from the computer is NOT checked. Run the uninstaller.
    ■ The wireless adapter should no longer be listed. In the menu bar, go to Action> Scan for hardware changes.
    ■ The wireless card should be back to its normal crappy self.
