Hello, I'm finally attempting to update my GPU, which will likely require a PSU as well i imagine, as my current one is only 450W. I was hoping to get something quite powerful around a $200 range, A recommendation on a new PSU (if necessary) would also be very helpful. Any and all help is greatly appreciated, system specs are:

gigabyte m68mt-s2 motherboard (1 PCI-E 2.0 X16)
AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad-Core Processor
AMD Radeon HD 6670
450W PSU

Yeah...no. That PSU is a piece of junk. To tell the truth, half of CM's PSUs are junk because they use obscure OEMs and platforms as opposed to brands like XFX and Corsair, which stick to only the better ones (or only the best, in XFX's case, as XFX only uses Seasonic).

Can't deliver advertised wattage (although I'm not surprised ), cables not sleeved (should be a telling sign), not even 80+, can't suppress ripples, poor efficiency. You should get a new PSU, something cheap like a XFX 550W Core, Seasonic S12II will do.
