As the title says, I would like to create a business and accept the challenges that creating a hard and tough business would be. My thoughts are creating something like Umart or Newegg but this will take some time (a lot).

In your answer can you provide maybe an order of steps to follow or tips from the beginning of a business.

I also understand that building computers only provide little profit but when it starts flowing it will hopefully turn out well. I have seen that many people suggested data recovery and customer support or helping locals with computer problems, i would like to know if I have to take a TAFE course or some type of learning course for doing so.

Many also say DO NOT START one as you dont get clients etc.

Thank you.

Data recovery is a good money maker, server hosting (buy some racks and host for people)(req business internet), PC builds of course, laptop rapairs (screens are usually a great money maker buy from China ahead of time of common screens for cheap and upsale them) etc.

You're Idea is something that many have had before. And that's the problem. There's too much competition in the hardware industry.
Building PC's and Repairing them may seem like good money. but when you think about the long run it isn't. $50 here and $50 there. it really doesn't add up well as you get older. Judging by your idea I assume you're still a kid. I used to be in the same position as you. Having the motivation to create,
You know you're smarter than most people. You know that your business will be somewhat of a success. But once you start it you'll notice you need to do more. I started P.T Networx Australia when I was 16 as a working from home computer repair shop. I quickly gained a lot of clients because the bigger computer stores around my area were giving customers broken computers back and still expecting money, even though they couldn't fix it, or had to hold it for weeks just to say they can't do it. All it took was one customer to come to me, I repaired his computer 5 minutes after he dropped it off, and he was so impressed that he spread the word about me to all his friends and family. Before you knew it i was packed with repair work. When they needed their computer fixed fast, they would drive how ever long it takes to pick me up and race me back to their house to fix their computer. I was 16 at the time so I couldn't drive...Anyway. a short time after that I had to close down the business due to personal reasons. I opened up again about 3 years later, But this time I took things much more seriously. Just to break things down a bit. P.T Networx Australia has since grown into a wide range of IT Related Departments. We now target Businesses more than anything. but we now do Custom Computer Builds, Web Designs, We have our own support forum, we even brought in our Web Hosting department this year. but we don't do repairs anymore. You know why? Because there is no money in it for the long run.

When you sell someone a Motherboard. You'll probably never see them again. If you sell someone a Custom PC. you'll probably hear from them about a really small issue they have. Which could put $50 in your pocket. but you'll never hear from them again after that. The big money in the IT Business these days revolve around software. Programming, Web Designs, Mobile Applications, SEO, all that type of stuff. Code is something that makes you rich. putting a PC together doesn't. So...If you really want to open a great store. Go learn some more skills and bring it all to the table.

If you seriously just want to build/repair PC's. Start hw i did. make sure you're better than those around you. because that's what is going to grow you.

Hope this advice helps you.
Good Luck with the business :)
