hi,
my specs:-
cpu-amd fx 8350
motherboard-asus m5a97 r2.0
ram-2*4gb corsair vengeance 4gb (1600mhz) ddr3
psu-corsair vs 550 (550W)
gpu-sapphire hd 7850 2gb dual-x oc edition
cpu cooler-corsair h80i
i have read guides to overclock my fx 8350 and i understood only half of it. and i overclocked my cpu. i kept the turbo core off. and increased the cpu ratio to 22.5(4.5ghz) by setting cpu ratio manually. and changed the cpu core voltage to 1.45v. and kept the bus freq and etc in auto. i also increased the dram clock to 1866mhz(o.c) and rebooted.
i turned on prime 95 with blend test. and used hwmonitor to see cpu temps. when there was last three secs to pass lucas test 1 to test 2. the 7th core failed with a cpu temp of 67c.and all the other cores passed to test 2.i kept my corsair h80i in performance mode.
why the temps are raising more.please brief what settings i have to change for an stable overclock
(like what vcore v,multiplier,bus freq,dram freq. i have to keep)with cpu temp below 60c.
please help me!!!!
