Hello,
I am wondering if the 4670k or 4770k will be better for gaming and streaming, I was thinking that the 4770k would be better because of the hyper threading on it, but I wasn't sure if it would be worth it to shell out the extra money for it. I do plan on OC'ing to like 4.6. I know that the 4670k is more than enough for games, but will it perform equally to a 4770k when it comes to streaming AND gaming?

My specs:
MSI Z87-GD65 mobo
SLI GTX 770 4GB
1000W PSU
16gb (4x4gb) 1600mhz DDR3 G.Skill Ripjaws X

For gaming, the i5-4670k would nearly be as much as you need really, if you plan on overclocking it, then that is obviously a big boost. Also with the i5-4670k, you are getting about 35% increase in performance per dollar compared to the i7-4770k. So my answer would be to go for the i5-4670k! :) (unless you just want to spend extra money).

Of course the 4770k is better, the question is, is it worth the extra $90-100. The answer is, no probably not unless you have a lot of money to spend.

You already have the MSI Z87-GD65 mobo, SLI GTX 770 4GB, 1000W PSU, and 16gb (4x4gb) 1600mhz DDR3 G.Skill Ripjaws X?
