■ [strike][/strike]Okay, so I bought my pc from my cousin and decided to just upgrade along the way. So far I upgraded the psu and gpu and now I think it's times to upgrade the cpu and mobo. So, I am upgrading from an intel core i5 750 and idk what novo to an amd fx 8320 w/ a Gigabyte GA 990fx. I was wondering if I needed to buy or reinstall windows 7 or I could just install the cpu and mobo then just plug in the hard drive and continue like normal. If I have to reinstall my windows can I do this without the key? Since my cousins older brother made the pc and no longer has the disc or key

I think you may have to reinstall Windows as hardware is going to be changed especially.the mobo and CPU. You can see if Windows will load and if it does it'll look and download drivers for your new hardware (If you are connected to the internet).
