How does unparking cpu cores affect my PC?

I unparked my cpu cores yesterday just to try out if the performance increases and it does, but when I unparked the cores my PC started to make alot of noise. Is it bad? What would you suggest me?
I have an Intel i7 2600 @ 3.40Ghz.

Noise is basically the sound the fans make to cool your compontents down. Shouldn't be a problem but keep an eye on the temperatures.
