Solution USAFRet Mar 9, 2014 Karry5784 : So no one can take copy files from it while pc is on and running Unless you've deliberately turned on file and print sharing, shared a folder, and they are on the same LAN....no.

unknownofprob Illustrious Oct 3, 2013 8,409 0 38,960 Mar 9, 2014 #3 firstly anyone can copy files if the drive is connected by a SATA port and the drive is on (powered). You can tell if someone plugged a SATA cable in your second HDD if there is a cable connected into it and power plugged into it! Is that what you mean? Upvote 0 Downvote
