What Power Supply should I get for M5A97 LE R2.0 and Asus 7770

I currently have a CoreXStream 500w PSU by OCZ. It has worked fine for me so far, but I believe it is now coilwhining (not 100%), but the whine is loudest I believe when my ear is near the power supply. I thought it was the GPU to begin with.

So I plan on replacing it, as this December I want to crossfire the 7770 with another.

So what is a good PSU to get, I am putting it in my new case (Define R4).

I don't really want to spend more than £60, I was looking at a CX600, but apparently they aren't that good.

Please let me know. I want it to be less than £60 like I said, as I plan on getting a Hyper 212 EVO at the same time, before doing the chassis change.

The current OCZ PSU I have has loads of remaining cables, including molex, and 4 pins, which I believe is for fans. They are currently just spewed everywhere in my case, and I don't want it to be like that in my new one.

This was the one I was going to purchase, but I've heard they aren't that good, can someone explain why it isn't as good as that XFX?

corsairs CX and VS series are considered lower tier quality than Seasonic. Seasonic is really like the gold standard with PSU's, bet quality parts. Corsairs higher end models are much better than their lower end.

The best thing to do is reading some reviews. You will read about capacitors that are of lower quality, rails that are just a bit "looser",maybe soldering not as good etc.

In the next list,
http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/thread/323050.aspx
are the corsair cx units in tier 3 and the xfx pro (core edition) in tier 2,for some people here is anything below tier 2(b) not good enough, but above tier 3 you wil find the next statements,

Power supplies fully able to meet ATX specs , although closer to the edges of the limits than higher tier units.
and,
Still solid units.

And even trickier is not all units are manufactured by the same manufactures (but still sold under the same brand, sometimes the same line within the brand) and it can be tough to find out the OEM, but sticking with good brands you generally wont have problems like that

corsairs aren't bad by any means, just comparing out of the top brands it comes in the lower end. It wont explode that's for sure, but it terms of headroom, overclocks and longevity/heat, that's where quality really counts.

XFXs are the best PSUs around; I'd suggest waiting a bit, getting some extra money, and purchasing one of these.

Good things come at a price, put an extra 10 pounds onto that budget and you'll have plenty choice like the already mentioned ones or the next,
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-power-supply-hcg620m
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1650xxxb9
In the end it's not such a hugh amount extra imo,it might save you some (a lot...) troubles in a few years.

[strike]If you really don't want to spend more is the corsair the best option.[/strike]
Found the next just under budget,
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/enermax-power-supply-etl550awtm
is the Enermax TRIATHLOR ECO 550W,can be found under tier2 in the list already mentioned.

This one is way under budget, but not modular which was the problem for the ts.

I am planning on getting the XFX 550w, as it seems like a good solid PSU that will last me a long time. I will just have to cable manage the rest of the cables, luckily the Define R4 has a lot of behind tray cable space, so I should be able to hide the extras. Will the cables on the XFX 550 be long enough to reach everywhere, while still being routed behind the tray, as the current OCZ I have has to be taken there directly, as the cables are pretty short.

Also, strange question, but is there anyway I can place my standard PCI wireless card in the vertical expansion slot, as I will be having the 2 graphics cards in crossfire, and the wireless card will sit directly inbetween.
