Hey guys!
I bought friday(6 march 2014) a Seagate hdd (ST1000VX000 model) and it has a strange buzz much like a coil noise. If i unplug it the noise stops so it's definitely this hdd. Did anyone experience something like this before? Is it a bug or a feature :)) ?
Any help is much appreciated :)

Well i was so excited to transfer the data from my samsung and wd hdd's and i really tried to endure the noise ... but i just can't stand it. If you search youtube for coil whine on psu/gpu's you will know what i'm talking about(80 percent of constant electronic noise of that example)
I will try and replace it today and will keep you posted.

It had problems and i got my money back. What is interesting is that, while i got tired of waiting for the testing(this is the 9th day since i sent it), i went back and bought another one, same model. This time i managed to try it there(just power it) and i had the same problem :| I imediatly changed it to an WD blue 1 tb. Today i got my answer regarding the first one and after this bad experience i will think twice before i buy a SEAGATE product.
