As I uninstalled a programme my windows could not start next time. when I tried to recover with CD I could not do so because of low space in drive-c so it was installed in Drive-D. now working well. c Now how can I remove the first windows that does not start? does it effect other programs if I remove it? suggest me please I have no formal education in computer but gained by experience.

Hi

Do you have a menu offering a choice of which windows version to use .?

If no choice no need to edit start up choices

If you rename c:\windows To. C:\windows.old and reboot then see if every thing is working normally for a few days
If so it will be safe to delete c:\windows.old
Similarly with c:\Program Files

However formatting c: May break windows startup depending on where current boot manager files are located

Before doing any of the above confirm you have the windows 7 DVD or system recovery cd or USB handy

If you had taken the option to format c: during the install there would have been space for installing windows on c: BUT all data in users my documents would have been destroyed.
