So for the last while my computer just shuts off at random times. It will be fine and ill go to get a cup of tea come back and its off and wont turn back on.The only way i can get it to come back on is plugging the main plug out from the wall for like 5 minutes and then when i put it back in computer will turn on....Rinse and repeat this happens many times a day.

When i went to event manager I got the "kernel power CRITICAL error 41"

Any ideas??

hello !

Thank you for your reply.

As I said in my post, this issue is happening on my laptop so it will be a bit hard to check all motherboards connections. I'm wondering how this maybe a source of the problem as my laptop is perfectly stable on my desk when it shutdown so can't imagine why an internal cable will disconnect and reconnect within 1 sec by itself :p

This problem occurs whatever im plugged in or only using the laptop battery. My pc is still in warrenty but I want to be sure that there is no other way than sending it to asus ( 3 weeks without pc :/ )

The wall outlet is fine.

Thanks
