so i've got
AMD A10 5800K 4.2Ghz Quad
Sapphire r7 260x 2GB GDDR5 OC @1150mhz (stock)
Asrock FM2A75M-HD+
2x2GB DDR3 1333mhz kingstone
Black Power 600W
Samsung EVO 120GB SSD
Western Digital 500GB slave storage
LG CD/DVD writer.
my fps in cs go is from 85-200 in matchmaking and 85-120 in deathmatch 20/20.
that is kinda low because i should get at least 200+ everything on low and my res on 1024x768
now someone is gonna say that 80fps is alot, but nah, cs go runs better at higher fps, trust me ive been playing cs from back at '04.
so what do you think the problem is?
its a low end gaming pc, but still should run very well on that game.
can it be that my gpu isnt getting enough power from psu? cause ive read something that cheap psu are not 600w even if it says 600w on the label.
and i've read that 8GB of ram is optimal for my gpu. should i get a new psu or ram first, or is my cpu to low to handle that gpu?
or my rams are too slow clock for that. pls help me i'm desperate jeezz :S
thanks in advanced.
and btw, my opinion is that something is wrong with gpu, because i play COD 1.1 it is an oldschool fps game but with my old gpu (GT 630 1GB GDDR5) i had 333 static fps on every map and even with 20 players on server, but with my new gpu i cant get more than 170-250. and this new one is about 10 times stronger than my old one. so maybe its that. i dont know.
thanks once more.

I'm not sure if you are trolling or not..... But unless you have a 120hz monitor(which you probably don't. 60hz is pretty standard for most people), 80FPS doesn't do you any more good. As long as you get above 60FPS, you should be smooth sailing.

you probably didnt play CS, CS:S and you probably don't play CS:GO.
for a smooth gameplay you need 150fps static for good gameplay. maybe some pc's are working smooth on 80-150 fps, but my pc DOESN'T !! and you obviously didnt get the point of this tread. my pc is running low on all games. maybe at 20% capacity. just don't reply anymore... like EVER. thx

I do play CS:S, but what I am telling you is that FPS doesn't matter if your Monitor can't display everything. What you might want to do is disable VSYNC so that you won't have as much lag which can help in the fast paced CS gameplay. Other than that, it really doesn't make a difference because your monitor is causing a bottleneck of some sorts. If you are getting 150FPS on a 60hz monitor, only 60 frames are being displayed in one second. So anything above 60FPS doesn't help. What can help is making lag as little as possible and you can do that with driver updates as well so that frametimes are lower making the picture be brought to you quicker, as long as you have a decent monitor with low response time.

150 fps? this is def a troll.. CS GO isnt gpu intensive to need 60+fps. even crysis 3 is more gpu intensive & can hover around 60 fps with the best gpu & cpu specs. any game is playable provided it can hover around 60 fps.. above that as the op said u need a 120hz monitor

i will link your answers to steam cs:go community so everyone can make fun of you. just simple as that. i asked you for a help to my problem and all you have given me is same old: you dont need more than 60 fps because your eye cant see more?! and so what if i dont need more than 60fps, i simply want it and that's the end off the story. you call me troll? dudes pls if you can't help or you are just not so familiar with hardware/software as it seems, do not, reply to people who are asking for help and call them trolls, because of your ignorance. ty gl&hf

Not to sound mean, but if you are serious, then you are one stupid little ignorant person. Sorry, but you don't know what you are talking about. The thing is, it is difficult for people to distinguish above 60HZ/60FPS(however, some people, like myself, can see a difference. And it does help having a 120HZ refresh rate in CS). If your monitor is 60HZ (which it probably is because the good quality monitors that are 120HZ are $300+), then you can't display anything more than 60FPS so stop whining. And if you have a 120HZ monitor, then you can't display anything more than 120FPS. What you should be worrying about is input lag and frame lag. If you want to get better at CS GO, you should get a better mouse for the quick and accurate precision and low input lag. Nvidia cards have lower frame times (which means that frames get sent quicker to the monitor) but the 260X shouldn't be too bad on frame times. 120FPS+ is more than needed. Also, newer graphics cards aren't as compatible for older games, meaning that you won't be able to get as good FPS. But anything above 60FPS is great and is all you need, given that your monitor is only 60HZ. It doesn't matter if you want more, it doesn't help. It is like giving more bullets to a gun, no matter how many bullets a gun has in the magazine, it will ALWAYS shoot at the same rate. Giving your monitor more frames (bullets) doesn't change the fact that your monitor will only display 60 MAX frames per second. Just remember, HZ=FPS. If a monitor says that it has 60HZ, then it will display 60FPS. If a monitor has 60HZ, then anything above is not needed because it simply cannot display more frames, it is IMPOSSIBLE. So you don't have to worry about your performance in CS GO, because unless you get a 120HZ monitor, then you are fine. GL&HF
