My CPU idles at about 30°C. I ran Prime95 (Small FFT) on my AMD FX-8320 with stock clocks. It ran at an average of 48°C and max temperature of 49°C.
Would it be ok for me to overclock my CPU at maybe 4.2GHz to 4.5GHz? What temperature would be considered unstable or unsafe when overclocking the FX-8320 when stress testing? What would you recommend?
