Hey everyone, I recently purchased and built my first gaming computer and I picked up a set of Corsair 1500 7.1surround sound gaming headset for a really good price. I built my computer and then noticed that the headset uses a usb for plug in, my motherboard does not have a usb audio port.

How do I fix this problem? Do I order a separate sound card, is there a adapter that will let me go from usb to 3.5jack and keep the 7.1 or can I turn one of my usb ports into a useable audio source?

Or should I sell the headset and buy a different one that has a normal style plug in, I want to have a 7.1headset.

Thank you.

Solution
The Corsair 1500 has a build-in sound card a uses a normal usb port. There is nothing like an audio usb port. Just plug it an usb port, install the drivers and enjoy the sound.
