Currently i have an ASUS VG248QE, and although its blazingly fast like it was meant to be the colors are not so spectacular in particular all the gradient issues in dark scenes. I would like to make the switch to IPS. I already have seen what IPS looks like and i really like it to the point of it being worth it for me to forgo 144hz and 1ms. I have tried an Asus VX279H and it had a nice dead pixel close to the center of the screen and i realized 27" is way too large for 1080p which made that 1 dead pixel even more noticeable so i returned it.

The other problem i had with the display was it only had 1 hdmi port and i needed 2 so i can have a ps4 hooked up to it too. So this time around i tried the Asus MX239H and it had everything i needed and no defective pixels, but it had an insane backlight glow in the bottom left corner. It was so bad that it was noticeable even in colorful light backgrounds, so i had to return that one too. I'm not sure if all of these displays have that issue, i know others have reported similar problems. The VX279H also had some glow there but not nearly as bad and would have been tolerable.

So I'd like to know if there are any other 23" IPS displays i could check out, preferably something newer that utilizes AH-IPS, has 2 hdmi ports or 1 DVI and 1 HDMI would work too. It would be a bonus if it had a bezel-less design but that isn't completely necessary.

Have a Dell IPS and Asus 120 & 144hz monitors here and basically .... given the choice..... pretty much everyone wants to use the IPS for photo work but unanimously will take the 144Hz / 120 hz over than Dell .... I find the color on the Dell a bit flat and fuzzy when gaming but I think that's more to do with game design than color quality in and of itself. Looking at grandma's 50th wedding anniversary pic on the 144 Mhz makes her look like a retired brother madam but it's that "over saturation" if you will is what make game graphics pop.
