i wouldnt recommend getting more than a 750 TI on that system, as i believe it only has pci-e 2.0? and the cpu would bottleneck also

i believe modern graphics cards will work fine however they will only be able to utilise pci-e 2.0 speeds, so it will essentially run as fast as the system can handle, thats why i said a cheap gpu is more suited.

the only other option would be to get a new pci 3.0 motherboard but that would require a new cpu etc aswell

well yea thats quite an old pci-e 2.0 card anyway, im not sure where you will find one these days besides second hand, perhaps a 650 TI would also be a similar price but more available
