I want to connect a wired network in my outbuilding office (8 way hub) to my wireless network in the main building.(it is too far to run a cable) I dont think a wireless access point will do this as the rj45 input is supposed to be connected to the wired network. ANy help would be much appreciated

It depends on the distance. You want to run a outdoor bridge. You might be able to get by with just one on the remote end and directly talk to the main wireless network. If not you will need a outdoor bridge on both ends and hook to your wireless router with a cable. Ubiquiti airgrid and engenious enh200 are examples of units that do what you need.
