hi all
Hopefully I can help , I tested my processor amd fx 4100 (I know is not a great processor , but served to me what I need ) with the program prime95 . The processor came to 70 ° C / 157 ° F in less than an hour , my question , is this normal?
The motherboard arrived at 45 ° C / 112 ° F.
I just bought the pc before with fx 6300 and gtx 760 evga but I had to make a degrade to acquire ultrabook for work .
All features of my pc .
CPU : AMD 4100 fx
Motherboard: 960GM VGS3 fx
ram : 8gb ddr3 1333mhz
gpu : Asus hd 7770 1gb gddr5 .

Also I have to clarify that I have a cooler of an old am2 + processor , I have not any case fan , my psu is a corsair CX430 .
By the way the problem is not that clean or lack of thermal paste and I just give sevice . The pc running normally has a temperature of 45 ° C / 112 ° F, using illustrator , photoshop , chrome , after effects and other similar programs.
No games on PC , do not use it for that, but I buy battlefield 4 and titanfall .
It is the first time that I make these checks , you need to start to make before you buy these games, the temperature of my gpu is normal, or I think in normal load is 39 ° C / 102 ° F , testing with Unigine Valley came up 56 ° C / 133 ° F.

That's it, hopefully they can help me and sorry for my English, I'm Mexican.

The TJMax on that chip is around 81c. I would get your temps down to about 60c if you can. Double check your CPU cooler is seated right and you did not use too much Thermal Grease TIM.
