I have a few CPUs that I've taken from some other computers and was wondering if I could harvest their power in a efficient manner. The processors I have are all Intel core i5s, and I was wondering if they could possibly all contribute towards solving a problem. Could they if I added a 32 bit processor to the mix? Possibly all on one motherboard? And is there any possible way of getting a different architecture like a AVR processor to work with the ARM i5s?

Solution
The only dual CPU boards that exist are for Xenon processors, so anything BUT them wont work. To get the most out of them either sell one and use one, or run two PCs if you really wanted to(Dont see why)

Agreed :) +1 (I don't know why either, maybe he thought he could harness all their power, can you imagine bridged CPUS!
