Thermal Margin readings

[/URL][/img]i have amd overdrive to monitor my pc - just got lastest version today and when i go to the cpu section it shows frequency,multiplier,volts and Thermal Margin.
i have never seen this thermal margin before its in red and says 121 c does this mean thats how hot my cpu can get before a melt down not sure how to read this. i dont over clock anything just monitor it. can send a screen shot if helps

Once the CPU reaches the set thermal margin, the CPU will throttle down to prevent itself from going over the thermal margin. 121 c is way too high BTW. I think AMD's max CPU temp is 80 c but you might want to look that up.

Yes thats why i go by the gpu which never gets above 54 or 55 with a big load - just wonderd why i would get a thermal reading like that as i stated this is a new reading i havent every seen before - i will disregard it as meaningless it probaly would help more if i was able to upload a screen shot of it i guess
