Yes its safe and there are certain programs that can do this and you could find those easily

To Turbo Boost your CPU : get into the BIOS search for turbo boost option then turn it enable, but you can't overclock this cpu further more

And your GPU : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBxEvgIKpm0

Sadly no. that motherboard is B75 and you need a Z75 or Z77 to OC:(  but try OCing your GPU :)

brother.. Im sorry to break the news too ya.. Im the same way trying to push the limits on graphics... but no.. only way you can fix it is upgrading or lowering some graphics.. Im sure all High isnt bad looking... normal or medium is what a console would run so anything above that is better looking anyways lol .. I mean there might be a couple config file things you can do to take away some stuff that dont matter, could improve performance, skyrim is popular for it and people still get better performance with max graphics

Nope You Need a new motherboard as i suggested the
Intel-Core i5 4670K + Asus Z87-A would be a good choice

so to get a good cpu to play all games in more or less of 60 fps i am gonna need a mb and a overclockable cpu?

if your looking to play at ULTRA... I would say yes.. but I would suggest turning down to high and seeing how it goes instead of spending all the $$.. Unless you have the budget for it.

the minimum FPS the human eye can view without causing strain is 47 fps.. if your dropping below that.. then your system just isnt up to playing games on ultra.. if your not getting a steady 60 or above.. Id lower some stuff.. But I know some people are allll about graphics lol. If your looking to play everygame 1080 with 60 fps n above.. I would save and upgrade your mobo and cpu.. FarCry is highly CPU dominate

Hey no problem! and I would honestly suggest the same thing the person above suggested.. I will look around for some better routes but with the setup he gave you.. should definately improve your performance and give you a more steady fps. If its out of your budget, or your budget is even higher than the recomendation.. then let me know and Ill look into it for you

the i5 = 4 cores 1 thread per core .. a i7 is 4 cores 2 threads per core.. it can always get better when it comes to gaming at max graphics and resolutions but I belive the i5 he suggested would be perfect for what your looking to do 3.4 ghz you can probably OC it to 3.7 - 3.9. With that new processor and mobo you should see a steady 60 across all games
