xbox controller messing up mouse input on pc games?

I've spent the last week or two trying to get my Logitech G13 to work with analog movement from the joystick. Since most PC games these days only support Xinput and no longer offer directinput support for older pc gamepads or joysticks, I was trying to get a 360 controller emulator to work, Then I realized I could just use my trusty XIM3 as the PC should recognize it as a 360 controller. Now the G13/left stick works great, the problem is that in some games, even though the mouse (still connected to the PC of course) technically still works for aiming, it's not right. It's as if the game is just (poorly) emulating the movements of the right stick. I need to somehow disable or ignore the right analog stick only in xinput and have the game go back to native mouse input. How do I get my system/games to recognize the native mouse input simultaneously as the left stick via the g13?

That's always been a problem with not so widely supported gamepads. In my honest opinion, you should save yourself alot of headaches and just buy a real xbox 360 controller. It will work perfectly with every game you ever play on pc. You can get them new for about $25 and you might be able to get a used on on ebay or at a gamestop for even less.

Yeah I have one, maybe I wasn't clear. I want to use my G13 in my left hand with analog movement on the joystick instead of WASD setup. I still want to use the mouse to aim. I hate using controllers for shooters, that's why I bought that xim adapter for my xbox, so I could use m/k on xbox games. The xim supports the g13 with analog. Never thought it would be such a pain to get working correctly with the pc, considering it was designed for pc.
