I have a power supply of 275w and I recently had a video card amd 6450(what needs about 400 w w according to the webpage)
Well some recommendations said to me that nothing will hapen cause it just uses 20 maximum 30 w.
I like to have two monitors i think there comes the problem and accelerate the gpu and clock time for best perfomance.
I just powered off the machine and when I powered on it it was working my brother tried to connect to a big monitor 46 inches I think and then the cpu powered off and now i am trying to power on the cpu but it's not working. I remove the video card and nothing
I notice that motherboard show a light but why it doesn't work then =(
Help me please if somebody knows about it
Or the problem is another?
Thanks for your help

"I have a power supply of 275w "

There's your problem. You should look at getting a 450 Watt power supply.

Yikes, you are going to have a hard time finding a power supply that will run that Graphics Card and fit in that case. Have you considered upgrading your case?

No your power supply is probably fine it just is not powerful enough to support that Graphic Card.

Of course I have to get a new case What is recommendable?
I am almost decided to buy a 500 w certified psu. Do you know what branch could be great?

And I want to get a case bigger than the slim. Is it neccesary a case like thermaltake? or a common case?

Here is the highest wattage TFX PSU
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
with that you can upgrade your GPU to GTX 750 Ti with no problems, but keep in mind there's not much upgrade potential unless new low power cards come out.

Second option would be to replace case and PSU,
According to http://downloadmirror.intel.com/15064/eng/DG31PR_Produc... your motherboard would be mATX, which will be able to fit into some mITX tower if you're looking for compact just like what JimF_35 has suggested.
If you're looking for HTPC type of case, go with
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
If you're looking for compact but able to fit full height GPU, go with
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-rc130kk...

Both cases will fit a normal size ATX PSU, which I would recommend (depends on whichever one you can afford, with XFX being higher quality)
