My poor Belkin F7D1401 v1 has sadly reached its life span (4 years running) and has started to have major issues (Couldn't connect to the web for nearly 2 days...).

Anyway, currently running a Technicolor tg582n as a replacement, but I just don't like it. Ugly, my uncles (Hate everything he uses), its telecom, and its free. Also is slowing down a lot.

I'm currently looking for a new modem/router but I have no idea about specs. I'm not tech savy when dealing with this area of computers sadly, so I have no idea what I should be looking at. The site I'm using is http://www.playtech.co.nz/afa.asp?strOrderBy=Lowest+Price&strKeyword=&CATID=78&idWebPage=39234&page=1&ListOptions=Submit

Needs to be able to handle HEAVY gaming and usage and have wireless (I use Ethernet since its in my room but family members use wireless). Would prefer not having to spend more than $200.

Not sure if the my PC specs could help but here: i7 4770k EVGA GTX 770 2GB 16GB Corsair Blue Vengeance MSI Z87-GD65

You're never going to get a high quality device if the modem and router are integrated. That's done as a convenience, but along w/ that convenience typically comes a crappy router. You're better off to buy separate components so you can select your router independently of the modem (basically once you have a working modem, that's the end of it, it just works).

I’d recommend any of the higher end ASUS routers (e.g., RT-AC66U, RT-N66U, , RT-N16), esp. w/ third party firmware (dd-wrt, tomato, etc.). Lots of memory and flash. Plus USB. You can reconfigure such as router to your heart’s content.
