Hello,
I am going to install windows 8.1 (64 bit) on my computer which is running windows 7 (32 bit). I am backing up all my files as I type this, and I was wondering how to go about the new install. I have seen multiple videos on youtube of what to do, but I am still confused on how to go about the new install. Should I install it over the old partition or should I Clean install. Also if possible, I have a 64gb SSD that if I can I would like to download windows 8.1 to that SSD. But if that option would be to hard to do I'm more than comfortable installing the new windows onto my 1tb hard drive.
