I have a toshiba MK3252GSX portable hard drive.
When I plug it into laptop the drivers installed successfully.
In device manager I can see it appear under disk drives and it says that the device is working properly
There is also the option to safely remove it in the notification panel.
PROBLEM:
The problem I am experiencing is that it is not showing up in my computer and I cannot get access to the files.
I have tried plugging it on to different laptops but to no avail.
If i put my ear to the drive it has a steady hum, no beeps or clicks and it doesn't smell like if anything is over heating or problems of that calibre.
Why is it showing up everywhere else besides my computer and how do I gain access to my files ?
