Can I replace a HP Pavilion A4316f-b Mobo with an aftermarket one without an issues or what problems will I face.

I have no video feed to the monitor and was wondering if I can switch out the mobo without any problems. I was told on some hp's there is problems with using aftermarket products. The exact same motherboard for the pavilion A4316f-b is more than I would like to pay. Any help would be very much appreciated.

As long as your new motherboard incomparable with each other component.

Memory, Processor, etc.

Also may have trouble with the front pins because they will usually be stuck together.

You can use a micro-ATX size motherboard. If you use the HP case, you should be able to pull the wires out of the front panel connector to use on the new motherboard. You could buy a bare PC case without the HP front panel connector which would also have better cooling.
