I am looking at getting a new PSU for my system. I was planning on getting a second r9 270 (once it gets cheaper) but I don't my current PSU has the power for 2 of them. Here is my build the way I have it now.
CPU: AMD FX 6300 (overclocked to 1.245v and 4.3GHz)
GPU: R9 270 (Overclocked to 1200MHz)
RAM: 16gb (4x4gb)
PSU: Raidmax 530ss

The PSU that I was looking at was the CORSAIR TX850M. Is that to overkill for my system even with two R9 270? I want a good PSU but cheaper is always better (I'm a college student) i wouldn't go higher than $125 (what the CORSAIR is right now.)

Solution
For a system using two Radeon R9 270 graphics cards in 2-way CrossFireX mode AMD specifies a minimum of an 600 Watt or greater system power supply. The power supply should also have a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 42 Amps or greater and have at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) is the most critical factor.

Overclocking of the CPU and/or GPU(s) may require an additional increase to the maximum combined +12...

Overclocking of the CPU and/or GPU(s) may require an additional increase to the maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current ratings, recommended above, to meet the increase in power required for the overclock. The additional amount required will depend on the magnitude of the overclock being attempted.

Your Raidmax RX-530SS would be grossly insufficient.
