Hey, looking for some help in building my friend a computer. He wants a budget of around $600. He doesn't game or do anything video intense, mostly uses it for internet browsing, music, and general use.

So far I was thinking:

AMD A10-6800K
ASUS F2A85-M PRO FM2 AMD A85X (Hudson D4) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
CORSAIR CX series CX430 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply
Western Digital WD10EZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive, Blue - OEM
SAMSUNG 840 EVO MZ-7TE120BW 2.5" 120GB SATA III TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Kingston HyperX XMP Blu Red Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Desktop Memory Model KHX16C9B1RK2/8X
Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, comes with Three Fans-1x Front Blue LED 120mm Fan, 1x Top 140mm

This would come in about $500-$550 but he would also need to buy a keyboard which I'll let him pick out.

Other thoughts were to go to the A10-7700K or the i3-4340 for processor but thought the 6800k would give better integrated graphics in case he does need them but still have all the cpu he would need for his task loading.

Any thoughts or suggestions or critiques? Thanks everyone!

I think that would be a really solid setup. I don't think you'd need to bother going with the 7700k or the 4340, though the i3 is definitely a good choice for CPU, if there are times when you want to game, I'd rather have an A10.
Will he want a WiFi card in this desktop? Not much is needed, I actually use a PCI Wireless G card, and it doesn't cause lag. It was free, so it's hard to argue.
That doesn't mean I recommend getting the cheapest thing, just that the $100 wifi cards are a waste of money, most of the time.

i use an E2-3200 dual core in my office, much weaker than the A6 i put up there. it handles general PC usage just fine, from browsing, 1080p movies, office work, etc. feel free to bump it up to an A8. he definitely don't need an A10.

He would want a wireless card so I picked one out to add to the list.

I want to make sure he has a computer that will run well for most things he does, would rather give him a little more than he needs than not quite enough for his budget.

Was thinking of switching to this mobo: Gigabyte GA-F2A88X-D3H ATX FM2+ Motherboard its a little cheaper.

Thanks for the input.,
