What changes Will I need to Make When Upgrading AMD APU?

I am getting ready to upgrade my AMD A4-3420 on a Holly2 MoBo with a AMD A6-3670K.

Will I need to make any changes to my Bios or other settings or just do the swap?

I am running WIN8.1.

Probably not. Most BIOS will detect your CPU and its default settings if the MoBo supports the CPU you are upgrading to. You may want to do a BIOS update before you upgrade but other than that it should be painless.

It should work by just swapping it in, but I do wonder how much you're paying for the CPU cuz I'm not sure if it's worth it or not.

I paid $34 new for it. And looking at the comparisons and benchmarks, it seemed like a decent deal.
