open case computers?

i wanna build a pc withe one of these cases. but what about dust and what not? your opinions?

These are test bench computers and are not meant for use on a main rig. Not saying it would not work... but you would need to dust it out much more frequently than a standard case.

i bought the aerocool one at frys electronics frys.com i think it was around 150$. i just have the case atm without anything in it lol. i was probably going to buy some airduster to use on it every now and then

Think carefully about WHY you want do it. You may find it ugly or annoying due to NOISE, space or something else.

Being OPEN doesn't necessarily translate into better cooling either.

Long-term dust might fall into the PCIe or other unused slots but it likely wouldn't matter. It's amazing how much dust it takes to wreck a PC.
